Tip Top Supersoft Gluten-Free Sandwich Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Tip Top Supersoft Gluten-Free bread
  • Butter or favourite spread
  • Your child’s favorite sandwich fillings
  • Seasonal fruit (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, banana slices)
  • Raw vegetables (e.g., cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, capsicum)

Method

  1. Spread butter on the slices of gluten-free bread. Make your child’s favorite sandwich using the bread and filling of your choice.
  2. Cut the sandwich into 4 pieces and remove the crusts, if preferred.
  3. Prepare the fruit and vegetables you’d like to include.
  4. Thread each sandwich piece onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of fruit and vegetables. Continue until the skewer is full.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Some of our favourite combinations

  • Peanut Butter sandwich threaded with strawberries and blueberries. Banana slices would be great too.
  • Ham and cheese sandwiches with cherry tomatoes, capsicum chunks, carrot slices and cucumber pieces.
  • Salami sandwiches with mini gherkins, cheese cubes and cherry tomatoes
